You will need a separate server running Server 2003 SP2 and a functional Domino Messaging Server installed on this server (this covers all prerequisites on the software side). Then in the Domino administration console go to the administration server directory and create a group with the following properties:

• Name: BlackBerryAdmins
• Group type: Access Control List only
• Description: Users who can add, delete, and change settings for BlackBerry device users
• Members: LocalDomainServers, any groups or users who might administer the BlackBerry Enterprise Server

Note: Make sure this group is replicated to the server where BES will be installed.

Now you just need to configure the server document to allow users to move within a BlackBerry Domain. Open the server document for the server on which you plan to install the BES and in the Run unrestricted methods and operations field, add the LocalDomainServers group.
